  An unusual war memorial.  
  It was strange to think that the minor road that I was happy to walk along was once quite a major route.  
  Two estate workers, in a Land Rover, stopped for a chat and invited me to use the bothy. It seems recently built and would be a very comfortable stop in foul weather. I welcomed the chance to sit down and change my socks after slipping and getting soaked whilst crossing a burn!
