At this stage I was torn between sticking to my original plan of finishing on Friday or getting a move on and finishing on Thursday so I could see more of my Challenge friends. DSCN2304 * .... then I saw this! Food! Leek and tattie soup, bread, chips and tea. Very satisfying before a 6 mile walk along a B road to the hotel marked on the map at Bridge of Alford where I managed to get a room. All of a sudden, everything was right with the world! Definitely in farming country now. Decided to remove some cross-country sections and walk on the road. I reckon I can finish on Thursday but I'm not really enjoying it, to be honest.
