P1000893 * I suppose it's possible that someone may be completely lost and find this sign useful. * 2560 x 1920 * (2.96MB)

P1000894 * Hallelujah, an unlocked hut! (The weather was a bit grim and I fancied a sit down out of the wind and rain). * 2560 x 1920 * (3.09MB)

P1000895 * Luxury. I ate my apple and signed the book. A few Challengers had been this way, including three who'd spent the night there. Bagsy bottom bunk. * 2560 x 1920 * (2.97MB)

P1000896 * 2560 x 1920 * (3.02MB)

P1000897 * 2560 x 1920 * (3.02MB)

P1000900 * I had to cross the River Meig at some point and this seemed as good as anywhere. NH164484 * 2560 x 1920 * (3.03MB)

P1000901 * After crossing the Meig, I then totally lost the abillity to read a map and had one of those infuriating arguments with my GPS and map. Eventually I decided to believe what they were telling me and I found the path beside the Allt an Amise between Creag Dhubh Bheag and Meall a' Ghiubhais. * 2560 x 1920 * (3.07MB)

P1000901_2 * 2612 x 1228 * (358KB)

P1000902 * First sight of Loch Monar. * 2560 x 1920 * (3.0MB)

P1000903 * I was surprised to find, when sorting my photos, that I had very few of my camping spots. I can only assume that this was because the weather was so miserable that, once I was in my tent, that was it for the night and there was no way I was going outside to take photos. This night I camped about 2.5km past Monar Lodge. Boy, it was grim. * 2560 x 1920 * (3.0MB)
