P1000903 * I was surprised to find, when sorting my photos, that I had very few of my camping spots. I can only assume that this was because the weather was so miserable that, once I was in my tent, that was it for the night and there was no way I was going outside to take photos. This night I camped about 2.5km past Monar Lodge. Boy, it was grim. * 2560 x 1920 * (3.0MB)

P1000907 * It may look like a boring photo but this was quite an emotional time for me. I slipped half way down that bare patch of hill and was stuck, unable to go up or sideways. I lowered myself down to the river (on my backside) then walked along/in the river until I could find a safe place to climb up again. * 2560 x 1920 * (2.88MB)
