2_West_Coast_water * Lochailort is on the West Coast but I'm sure there'll be a pedant along in a minute ......... there did seem to be quite a bit of land further west. * 2048 x 1536 * (607KB)
3_Loch_Beoraid * Loch Beoraid. It may *look* nice but I *HATE* it! Rather than walk along the road to Glenfinnan, I walked up to, and along the North shore of, this loch. Boggy and trackless for much of the way. Too hard for me on my first day. * 2048 x 1536 * (634KB)

  Loch Beoraid. It may *look* nice but I *HATE* it! Rather than walk along the road to Glenfinnan, I walked up to, and along the North shore of, this loch. Boggy and trackless for much of the way. Too hard for me on my first day.  
  Looks like we weren't the first ones there.

9_Highland_Cow * Not yaks, but Highland Cows. Funny creatures. Seemed friendly enough but those horns looked sharp (hence the fuzzy photos as I didn't fancy standing still for long). * 2048 x 1536 * (645KB)

  Not yaks, but Highland Cows. Funny creatures. Seemed friendly enough but those horns looked sharp (hence the fuzzy photos as I didn't fancy standing still for long).  
  Still snow around if you want it.
